The conference introduces the Soldiers of the Soil Veteran Stewardship Fellowship and brings together the knowledge, relationships, and working-land opportunities needed to launch its founding class.

Veteran pathways

The 2027 Veteran Stewardship Fellowship: certified education, paid field experience, apprenticeship placement, and long-term employment assistance.

Rangeland education

University of Idaho Rangeland Center perspectives on applied stewardship training and the future of working lands.

Regenerative ranching

Noble Research Institute education grounded in soil health, grazing management, livestock performance, and producer resilience.

Agrarian vision

Ben Aguilar of The Berry Center on Wendell Berry’s enduring vision for land, community, family agriculture, and rural renewal.

Working-land resources

Conversations with agencies, agricultural organizations, producers, and partners supporting veteran and producer success.

Conference registration

October 1 and October 4 are half days. Choose the October 1–2 or October 3–4 in-person package; scheduled meals are included. The weekend pass also includes clinics, banquet, meals, and tent camping.
